Will be posted Friday(ish)… 😉
First, the hope:
We all know by now that Japan was struck by a devastating earthquake and tsunami, and that thousands of people lost their lives, their homes, and countless other things that some of us take for granted.
The Twi-fandom is a generous fandom, and it didn’t take long for a Fandom Fights Tsunami movement to begin. I, along with more than 200 other authors, are writing outtakes, one-shots, original fiction, poetry, etc. in an effort to raise money for this cause. At the time of this posting, more than $11,000 had been raised!
I encourage you to write and/or donate to help the people of Japan as they begin their long recovery. Follow this link for more information. If you donate, you’ll receive a compilation of all author submissions.
I will be writing an outtake from “A Thousand Leaves,” and it will be the story of Carlisle and Esme.
While we’re on the topic of giving to good causes, I’m also taking part in Fandom For Sexual Assault Awareness. More info on that can be found here.
I’ll be writing Renee’s story, an ATL outtake.

On a much lighter note, ATL has won another award, and I thank you very much! It means a lot.
Til next time,

Chapter goes up Friday, and is over 6000 words. 🙂
Here’s a little tease…
Emmett stepped forward, laying a hand on Edward’s shoulder when his voice cracked with emotion. Edward shrugged it off, digging the heels of his hands into his forehead.
“When I was a little boy, you guys were my everything. When did I become your nothing? Just tell me that. That’s all I need to know.”
Esme was sobbing now, covering her face with her hands as Alice tried unsuccessfully to console her.
Carlisle stood, but before he could take two steps, Edward held up his hands. “Don’t.”
“Son, let me speak.”
“You can speak, just don’t come near me.”
“Words can’t possibly convey-”
Edward cut him off with a sharp bark of laughter. “Oh, that’s great, Dad. Spare me the clinical wordy bullshit. Just tell me.”

Also: Bella gets a surprise visitor, and Alice gets a slap (not physically, mind you, though I know a great deal of you would like to see that)…
See ya Friday.

My one-shot submission to the Fic-A-Pic contest took third place! Thank you to everyone who read/reviewed/voted. There were sooo many good entries. Here’s a link to all of the entries.
And congrats to Katinki, whose “Love Songs in E Minor” won first place. It was my favorite 🙂
